Post-Pregnancy Weight Loss: Wks 10-11 The Finale!

Week 11 is the finale of my post-pregnancy weight loss challenge. My goal was to reach my pre-pregnancy weight by now since it took 9 months to reach 176lbs and I wanted to reach my goal weight 9 months after birth. Well, I did not reach my 140lbs goal, and this was because I started extremely late. I wanted to lose the weight by the time I reached 9 months post-pregnancy, but I did not work at it the entire 9 months. I only gave myself 11 weeks. With these 11 weeks, however, I have to say I made a nice progress. I lost a total of about 10lbs. (almost a pound a week).

My belly doesn’t seem to want to go anywhere (I lost an inch this week, though!), and I have to admit that it sometimes causes insecurities, discouragement, and low confidence in my body. And it doesn’t help that I teach middle schoolers that constantly ask, “Are you having a baby???” (lol, the horror!) Now that this challenge is over and I’ve gain some great ideas and techniques for weight loss (because different things work for different people), I will be starting a new challenge! It will be focused more on abs and total body fitness rather than weight loss. I’m so excited! You can join the challenge with me!!! Just go to your phone and download the app called 30 Day Abs Challenge. There are also other challenge apps for other parts of your body or total fitness. Let’s get started TODAY!! Check back next week to read about my week 1 progress!
